Brightspace course for assistive technology users

The idea

I built a Brightspace course that guides learners who use a screen reader, magnifier, or other assistive technology around the platform. I wrote its content, set up how students are enrolled, and added a pop-up that greets them the first time they enter.

Why

Learners shouldn't have to expend energy and mental capacity learning how the tools they need work in different spaces. This course provides examples and no stakes activities helping them to understand how their tools and Brightspace interact. Hopefully, this frees learners to focus on what's important: learning.

What I built

In addition to providing examples to practice with, the course (alongside the AT User Guides) I use this course to collect instructions and demonstrations for students to refer to when they need.
