What I have made

Selected projects from my work in learning technology, accessibility, and student support at Langara College. Each one links to a short case study: what it was for, what I did, and what came of it.

Accessibility demonstrations

Short, practical examples I use in workshops to show how content works (or doesn't) with assistive technology.

  • Alt Text Comparison

    Status: Demonstration

    2025

The same image with no alt text, unhelpful alt text, effective alt text, and a caption, plus a screen reader recording of all four.

  • Images with text overlay

    Status: Demonstration

    2025

Putting a screenshot's instructions on top of it as real text, instead of hiding them in alt text.

  • ETUG 2026

    Status: Demonstration

    2026

Accessibility Why: inaccessible colour, captions, alt text, and links, as an assistive technology user meets them (ETUG 2026).
